Government of Canada to support tariff-impacted workers in Quebec

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Jobs and Families, Annie Koutrakis, will be in Fassett to announce funding to help workers in Quebec build new skills and seize emerging opportunities.

The announcement is being made on behalf of the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Jobs and Families and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario.

Parliamentary Secretary Koutrakis will be accompanied by Stephane Lauzon, Member of Parliament for Argenteuil-La Petite-Nation.

A photo opportunity and media availability will follow the announcement.
