Biography - Eric Michaud

Eric Michaud is appointed to the Board of Directors of Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) for a three-year term. Mr. Michaud holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree in finance, and has been a lawyer and member of the Quebec Bar since 1997.

From 2011 to 2015, he held the position of Vice-President at several organizations including the Agence des PPP (public-private partnerships) du Quebec, Infrastructure Quebec, the Societe immobilire du Quebec and the Societe quebecoise de l'Infrastructure. During this period, Mr. Michaud managed the tender processes and financial and contractual closures for the McGill University Health Centre and Centre hospitalier de l'Universite de Montreal (CHUM) public-private partnership projects. He also oversaw project portfolios valued at hundreds of millions of dollars and played a crucial role in the development and restructuring of public project management organizations.

Mr. Michaud also served as PPP Project Director and Public Authorities Representative for the CHUM's new hospital complex from 2016 to 2022. In this role, he worked on the project governance, collaborating at a strategic level with CHUM's senior management and the Ministre de la Sante et des Services sociaux du Quebec, in addition to leading the teams assigned to the project at the operational level.

From 2022 to 2024, Mr. Michaud also acted as Executive Director of the Designated Projects Development Office at McGill University, leading a new unit that oversees the planning and management of complex projects, from feasibility studies to infrastructure delivery.

Mr. Michaud now serves as a consultant in project management governance, portfolio management, process optimization, and project restructuring. He contributes to large-scale infrastructure projects for both public institutions and private firms.

Mr. Michaud is also a member of the Board of Directors of Immeuble VDS Inc. a subsidiary of CDPQ Infra.
